This seminar will take place over two days, in Avignon.
Monday, November 26. The day will open with a designer of rotary tattoo machines. He will be showcasing one of his new, popular tattooing tools. He will explain how he came up with the original concept, designed the prototype, and why he thinks that his tools work better than any conventional dermograph.
After noon, Ink Master winner Shane O’Neill will share his technical expertise on black and gray portraits. He will cover topics ranging from needle selection, machines, ink and tubes, to his approach to working with a stencil.
Tuesday, November 27, Julien Thibers and Manu de Châlons (Manu Badet), will host a workshop focusing on the rotary tattoo machines they are so passionate about and now use exclusively.
Manu de Châlons has gained international notoriety over nearly two decades for his realistic portrait work, and is kind enough to share with you his work and talk about his technique.
Julien Thibers (clockwork needles) is a rising star in the French tattooing firmament and has been drawing and painting for many years. He’s been hosting his master classes in Épinal, and will be on hand to share his expertise with tattoo professionals. He will also weigh in on his impressions about using rotary tattoo machines.
When you sign up for the seminar, let us know If you need to book a hotel room, and tell us how many people will be in your party and how many nights you’re planning on staying.
We recommend that you bring along your photo and illustration books to show them to Shane O’Neill and share them with the rest of the attendees who are undoubtedly as passionate about tattooing as you are.
An interpreter will be present to translate the entire seminar into French.

Shane O’Neill may be the winner of the Ink Master television program, but there’s much more to the man.
He’s one of the greatest artists of his generation and a master of realistic tattooing. With a strong artistic background as an illustrator, Shane didn’t take long to earn recognition as a star of the tattoo world. He remains however a very humble man, and loves to spread his knowledge around at seminars around the globe.
Shane was kind enough to come and host his first-ever seminar in France.
He will also be present at the Cantal In’K the Skin for the international tattoo gathering on July 5, 6 and 7, 2013 in Chaudes-Aigues.
